Engineering-led 3D solutions

Engineering ideas. Rendered real.

From precision CAD to cinematic product advertising, photoreal visualisation, technical animation and simulation.

Precision engineering when accuracy matters. Cinematic presentation when impact matters. RendReal connects both.

The public promise

Bring a product, a machine, a process or an engineering idea.

We turn it into a precise, realistic and visually powerful 3D result — from cinematic product advertising to technical explanation, simulation and digital validation before expensive decisions are made in the physical world.

What we create and solve

Services

The complete RendReal package

These are solutions that combine, not isolated menu items. A project can start from a STEP file, a SolidWorks assembly, a render, a photograph, a sketch, old footage — or only a technical problem.

01

Product Advertising & Cinematic Visuals

Premium product commercials, cinematic hero shots, launch visuals, social and web advertising, macro product sequences and visually driven presentations. We can work from CAD, existing renders, photographs, reference imagery or prepared 3D assets while keeping an engineering-aware approach to product form and detail.

02

CAD & Engineering Visualisation

Photoreal stills and technical presentations built from engineering data. SolidWorks-friendly workflows are an important differentiator. Engineering intent, proportions, assemblies and relevant structure are preserved wherever possible, and all major standard 3D/CAD formats can be prepared for the right visual workflow.

03

Industrial Animation & Process Communication

Assembly sequences, exploded views, cutaways, process animations, machinery demonstrations, production concepts and cinematic technical explainers that make complex systems understandable while staying strong enough for marketing and sales.

04

Robotics Simulation, Digital Twins & Training

NVIDIA Omniverse, Isaac Sim and Isaac Lab workflows for robot articulation, production sequences, automated transport, physics, sensors, digital twins and robot-training projects. Where useful, we build controller-driven, beginner-friendly interfaces inside Isaac Sim so prepared simulations can be operated without deep robotics-software knowledge.

05

Material Development & Exploration

A core RendReal strength. We develop and compare ultra-realistic surfaces, finishes and material combinations — polished and brushed metals, coatings, rubber, plastics, glass and fine product details, through to large industrial machinery and factory environments.

06

CAD-to-Animation Asset Preparation

Supplied engineering geometry prepared for animation and simulation: cleanup, hierarchy, separation, pivots, optimisation, mesh conversion, fine-tuning, limited remodel work and the supporting assets an animation needs.

07

AI-Assisted Visual Production

Personalised AI workflows used wherever they create a real production advantage: image to animation, render to animation, reference-photo animation, controlled image editing, sketch and concept visualisation, visual variations, improvement of existing renders, animation enhancement and modernisation of older footage.

08

Post-Production & Final Delivery

Editing, compositing, colour, titles, sound design, audio cleanup, restoration, upscaling, frame interpolation and format adaptation. Stills and video are delivered in the format the client requires, including professional master and intermediate formats and image sequences, up to 8K resolution and 60 fps.

Precision CAD + mesh 3D

Bridging two worlds

Many industrial companies live in SolidWorks and CAD, while most high-end visual workflows live in mesh-based tools. We are built to connect those worlds instead of asking the client to translate between separate suppliers.

From SolidWorks CAD

Mechanical movement

Precision CAD geometry carries the dimensions and structure. Material development, lighting and rendering turn it into a photoreal presentation without losing engineering truth.

From mesh-based 3D

Automotive body

The same logic applies from the mesh side. Raw Blender geometry becomes a finished automotive presentation through materials, lighting, environment and camera work.

Problems solved in 3D

Each project below started from a problem: something to explain, prove, present or validate. Open one to see the data we started from, what we solved and what was delivered.

AI-assisted production

A current advantage, not the product

We use personalised AI-assisted workflows alongside engineering and 3D software to complete difficult visual tasks faster, remove repetitive work and extend what one integrated team can deliver. The objective is not to replace engineering judgement — it is to give it better tools.

  • Image to animation

Animate a strong product image, photograph or render into a controlled commercial shot.

  • Render to animation

Turn approved CAD/3D stills into additional cinematic or commercial motion shots.

  • Photo / reference to animation

Create motion from real product imagery while keeping the engineering reference as the quality target.

  • Sketch / concept to visual direction

Use concept material for fast visual exploration before exact geometry exists.

  • Controlled image editing

Background changes, cleanup, presentation changes, scene variations and marketing adaptations.

  • Existing footage improvement

Clean up, restore detail, stabilise, modernise or repurpose older footage and renders.

  • Animation improvement

Enhance existing renders and animations for perceived detail, smoothness and presentation quality.

  • Rapid iteration

Test visual directions and camera ideas quickly before committing to heavier final production.

Engineering review and human validation remain responsible for the final result.

Workflow

Fast, engineering-led, quality-controlled

One workflow. Fewer handoffs. Faster decisions. Engineering understanding from the first file to the final frame.

  1. 1

    Understand the problem

Clarify what has to be explained, proven, presented or decided. Review CAD, references, required realism, audience and technical constraints.

  2. 2

    Prepare the data

Clean and organise CAD/mesh assets, create missing animation-support geometry, establish hierarchies, pivots, materials and scene structure.

  3. 3

    Solve in 3D

Build the visual or simulation logic: articulation, process sequence, product motion, camera strategy, digital-twin scene or technical explanation.

  4. 4

    Develop materials

Create the required realism and surface response, from macro luxury detail to industrial coatings and large machinery.

  5. 5

    Accelerate with AI

Apply AI to suitable repetitive, exploratory, enhancement or transformation tasks — never as a substitute for engineering understanding.

  6. 6

    Render & post-produce

Render, edit, composite, colour, add sound and prepare the final piece in the required presentation style and delivery format.

  7. 7

    Quality control

Engineering and visual review before delivery: geometry, sequence logic, text and branding, materials, camera continuity and final media quality.

About RendReal

Engineering first, then the image

RendReal was created to merge worlds that are too often separated: real engineering, high-end CGI and modern simulation. We understand the machine, product or process first, then choose the best combination of CAD, mesh-based 3D, simulation, materials, AI-assisted production and post-production to communicate or solve the task.

We value visuals that look impressive — especially for product advertising and cinematic presentation — but the advantage is that the image is backed by technical understanding. Our value is in understanding why the 3D work is needed, what technical problem sits behind it, and how the result can reduce uncertainty, improve communication, support sales, explain a process or help prevent costly mistakes before physical implementation.

The long-term direction is for RendReal to become the place where complex visualisation, animation and simulation problems are solved under one roof. We keep expanding the specialised tools and AI-assisted workflows available to our engineers so harder tasks can be completed faster and with fewer handoffs — while engineering judgement and quality control stay in charge.

  • Real engineering understanding

CAD, machinery, manufacturing processes, quality requirements and production logic — understood before anything reaches a render.

  • Everything connected in one place

Precision CAD, mesh 3D, photoreal materials, advertising, technical animation, robotics simulation, AI-assisted production and post.

  • 3D before costly reality

Where appropriate we visualise, simulate and test sequences digitally so issues surface earlier and rework is reduced.

  • Speed without losing control

AI-assisted workflows remove repetitive work and accelerate iteration; engineering review owns the final result.

Portrait of Erik Sabol, manufacturing engineer and founder of RendReal

Founder

Erik Sabol

Manufacturing engineer, founder of RendReal

Erik Sabol is a manufacturing engineer and the founder of RendReal. Raised in northern Croatia and now living on the Adriatic coast, he built his professional background across mechanical design, manufacturing technology and a quality control department. That work has always been connected to real products, machines, production processes and the practical problems that appear between design and manufacturing.

Engineering, technology and digital creation have been long-term interests, and RendReal is the point where they are deliberately merged — bringing real-world engineering situations into the 3D world and solving them with the most advanced combination of CAD, simulation, visualisation, animation, AI-assisted production and high-performance hardware available.

He brings the disciplined, dependable and straightforward professional attitude associated with Croatian engineering professionals working across Europe and internationally: clear communication, responsibility for the result and doing the work properly. Having trained and competed in sport since childhood, the same determination carries into the work — difficult 3D problems get worked through until the solution matches the requirement.
